In February 2024, Karup Design is launching a new, exciting collection designed by the renowned Danish architectural firm C.F. Møller Architects.
The collection targets Generation Z and their way of living – small living spaces – which is especially popular in larger cities where homes are typically smaller and the utilization of every square meter is central.
With a keen eye on current trends and the younger generation's needs, the well-known architectural firm has created four elegant designs that translate the keywords innovation and multifunctionality into practical, daily use. The collection offers four designs; a sofa bed, two coffee tables, and a side table, where the keywords are innovative design and multifunctionality.
Central furniture with multiple functions
C.F. Møller Architects’ insight-driven design process, inspired by Generation Z's multifaceted use of their homes, has resulted in a sofa bed that easily and quickly change shape according to needs - from a comfortable bed to a welcoming sofa with a chaise lounge. This sofa bed invites to relaxation, socializing, and support the many activities that the younger generation values. The sofa bed is available in five different colors.
The collection also features a side table and two coffee tables. The side table can be adjusted to five heights and, with its flexible design, can easily be integrated as a side table next to the sofa, bed, or lounge chair. The coffee tables are available in two different sizes and heights and can be used together or individually.
The collection is made of FSC®-certified pine wood, and the products are available in various colors. Clear, Cobalt Blue, Ruby Red, Lush Green, and Black Night. The color selection is classic shades that can last for many years and tap into the colorful trend that is flourishing today.

The collection's Base Sofa Bed and Sticks Tables are designed in five carefully selected colors, each with its own unique expression. Ruby Red, Cobalt Blue, Lush Green, Clear Lacquered, and Black Night are all classic color tones that match the current color trend, yet are also timeless and can stay in style for many years.
