About the design

Roots 90 is the essence of the Karup Design DNA: You get not only a sofa but also a bed and a comfy lounge chair. By putting down the front legs and adjusting the back, you get a cushy lounge chair. By lowering the back completely you get a nice bed in which you can recharge rooted to the ground. Double up the back, fold over the mattress, and now you have a regular-height lounge chair. Roots 90 transform quickly and easily - just like magic. Get the idea?

Care guide

Wood is a living natural material with knots and natural variations that give each piece its own unique character. No two pieces are exactly alike. Over time, the wood will develop a beautiful patina and naturally adapt to its surroundings, including light, climate and humidity.

Do not place hot objects or candles directly on the surface. Wipe off any spilled liquids immediately with a damp cloth. Regularly check that screws and fittings are properly tightened.

Fabric:
If needed, the fabric can be vacuumed to remove dust and small particles.

For stains, use a damp cloth with a small amount of clear dish soap and gently clean the affected area. Always use a clean, non-dyed cloth when drying the spot. Avoid soaking the fabric.
