Solid, natural wood

We design furniture from high-quality natural pinewood. The knots in our furniture are considered as individual characteristics and charisma of each piece of furniture. Not two will look the same. Since wood is a living material, and even after being turned into a furniture, it still remains a ‘living thing’. You can expect the natural pinewood surfaces to change over time when being permanently exposed to climate and humidity fluctuations.

The above mentioned changes are normal for natural raw materials such as wood.

Please be aware that the following points apply in general:

  • Do not place hot objects on the furniture
  • Do not place candles directly on the furniture
  • Immediately wipe off any spilled liquids
  • Regularly check if the screws and fittings are tight
  • The typical, aromatic wooden odor is always a proof of quality for our natural wood furniture
  • Wooden bed frames thus are affected by cold, heat and moisture, and the space and surroundings they are placed in. Therefore it must be expected that creaking noises may occur.

Make it yours

Raw pine.
Room for personality.

Many of our pieces are made from untreated solid pine. That means one thing: You can make them yours.
Oiled. Soaped. Whitewashed. Lacquered. Painted.
Lighter. Darker. Softer. More raw.

The wood is your canvas.
Pine is a living material. It moves. It ages. It develops character over time. With the right treatment, you protect the surface while enhancing its natural expression.

Some pieces, like our solid pine tables, should always be treated. Without protection, the wood will absorb liquids, grease, and everyday life. With treatment? It can handle morning coffee, pasta nights, and slow Sunday papers. Treatment doesn’t just protect the wood. It makes it personal.

How to treat your pine furniture
There’s more than one way to do it. Choose what fits your home and your everyday life.

  • Oil – enhances the grain and adds a warm, natural glow
  • Soap treatment – creates a light, Nordic look with a soft surface
  • Lye + soap – helps maintain a pale finish and reduces yellowing over time
  • Lacquer – provides a strong, more resistant surface

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the product you choose. We recommend testing on a small, less visible area first.

Solid pine. Solid choices.
